In order to innovate fast enough to keep pace with this change, progressive companies are moving to a social business platform where they can tap into a global talent to innovate through social collaboration. This is about the processes, tools and behaviours that help large groups of people interact and share information to achieve any common goal, purpose or task, including innovating new services and products.

Such processes find their ‘natural’ environment in positive co-creative ‘macro’  group processes like Appreciative Inquiry (AI, supported by ‘macro’ or ‘crowd sourcing’ social technologies, where collaboration and social dissemination of information are made easier by current innovations in social or digital media.
